Dune (Lynch) has always surpassed Star Wars in my book. Even Star Trek (TOS/TNG) touches on heavier topics.
Dune is on my to-read list. I'm a massive fan of the LOTR books(the movies sucked) but I'm tempted to say Star Wars is even better. What topics does Trek touch on that SW doesn't?
