who knows.. but I think ZCash is a winner over Monero without doubts

Personally, I really like that on Monero privacy is non-optional.

Yeah, and a huge scalability problem due to that, as you cannot mark outputs as spent. Monero on mobile is a nightmare.

in my case, I like to be given an option. Also I do like a lot that ZCash has very few coins comparing to Bitcoin and Monero.

Personally I belive that optional privacy decreases the overall privacy of the cryptocurrency. And I do not believe that you should evaluate a project by the quantity of coins.

Zerocoin privacy is optional, yet it does not decrease overall privacy. In zerocash, on the other hand, it is more like optional transparency longterm, which is beneficial.

hmm, yeah who knows. what makes you say zcash is a winner without doubts? (genuinely curious, clearly don't have full technical knowledge of either)

I think the market appreciate and understand more ZCash than Monero. The listing on Gemini might be showing this, also other important milestone covered by ZCash.
replied 2373d
true, impossible to predict what the market chooses as it may or may not be the one that is technically better (not saying a particular one is, just that isnt a fool-proof method)

What I really don't like about ZCash is the 20% reservered.
