Liking something more than once from the same account doesn't affect ranking. We also can't control what people put on-chain. Thanks for input, will think about ways to improve.
Personally, I don't have a problem with people liking things more than once and I think it should be counted. The "fix" to it being infinite is that it has a cost.

I love it! And it would appear they are indeed counted in the ranking as my post is quite near the top of my ranked feed now.
