I would think that the Like feature encompasses the same functionality as a retweet when combined with the Dashboard and All Activity view
Fair point. But is the goal to emulate Twitter and win those users over? I think people might prefer both a Like and a Retweet function separate. But maybe I'm wrong.
I think that's the goal. I also think Twitter is doing their utmost to drive away users. Blockchain social media is going to end up with that user base regardless, is my point :)
I agree. Just because you like something doesn't mean you want to put that onto your wall, stream, etc.
On the other hand, likes are public anyway because of the blockchain. Maybe let users customize if they see likes and/or retweets in their feed, as they desire.
For sure, the more customization of feeds, the better the platform is.
