Reaching critical mass without adoption in as many aspects of trade and commerce is basically impossible.
If most of the players wouldn't be fiat greedy speculators a transparently operated non-profit organization could help a lot overcoming this issue in my opinion.

Crypto adoption is slow because it's useless for the customer. I'm using fiat everyday it's working fine. But it's antifragile, not fiat
