Tried it, you can't drive a Tesla like a BMW.
It throttles performance and overheats.
These early versions of Teslas are just poser cars....which means it will be highly popular.
Depends which model you have. The performance models often have a battery cooling mode just for that. Track mode in the Model 3 completely eliminates that issue.
