Are they not concerned because they think it won't happen, or do the think it may happen - but it is not something to be concerned about. (The expropriation without compensation) ?
I understand it as they are not concerned about it happening at all, that it is just political rhetoric to win votes, but it actually happened (land rep) would that be reason to leave?
The corruption is reaching absurd level in SA in general, if a country goes south (which they can't, geography, lol) then there will be some elite group that will get the blame.
But it may not even be necessary, as it is possible to give preferential tax benefits to non-white farmers, and over-tax the white, until they walk away from the land.
yeah more of a soft take over. hard to tell with these things. like reading history books of WWII & wondering why Jews didn't leave the moment HItler was elected.
Hitler was never elected, he lost and was appointed a more symbolic position, then later overtook the position and closed the door behind him. Just leaving was not an easy option.
