yeah think its all just theater. apparently ideas of land expropriation have been floating around for a while.
The corruption is reaching absurd level in SA in general, if a country goes south (which they can't, geography, lol) then there will be some elite group that will get the blame.
The rhetoric is not new, but it seems they are getting close to actually getting it in place for real in the coming years.
But it may not even be necessary, as it is possible to give preferential tax benefits to non-white farmers, and over-tax the white, until they walk away from the land.
yeah more of a soft take over. hard to tell with these things. like reading history books of WWII & wondering why Jews didn't leave the moment HItler was elected.
Hitler was never elected, he lost and was appointed a more symbolic position, then later overtook the position and closed the door behind him. Just leaving was not an easy option.
He did get a lot of votes though, to be fair.
