📌Vietnamese real estate tycoon Truong My Lan, accused of the largest fraud in the country's history, amounting to more than $12.5 billion, has been sentenced to death penalty by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court, the court's ruling shows.

My Lan is accused of forging loan applications to withdraw money from the largest Vietnamese bank SCB, in which she owned 90% of the shares directly and through front men.
