Looked up the newsletters (that Ron Paul denies having signed off on, in the 90s) and I think that there may have been some creative interpretation on what was written.
DC legislative inefficiencies makes it so that what should be law abiding citizens becomes criminals because of the unjust and excessive laws that criminalize them, which dispropotion-
disproportional criminalizes those who are already discriminated against. The claim is not that most blacks are criminal but that the laws disproportionately affect the black by -
making them law-breakers (Not criminal as in immoral or violent, just criminal as against the law) just by dint of incompetence from the lawmakers. But that sort of logical argument -
- is not possible to make to the general public as putting stating an unfortunate fact will be viewed (by a large portion) as endorsing that fact.
Accidentally spending money on something that goes against your beliefs has to be a shitty experience. Better to just lose the money by sending it to the wrong address.
