Not the mental kind, oh no, totally free from that one, no mental barriers in my mind. May have spent some time in the other kind of prison (maybe), but at least my mind is a bit free.
I would suspect the mental prison is way worse. I often wonder if the mass surveillance is like a giant prison, in particular with facial recognition - reading people emotions!.
Which is what is so bad about mass surveillance, everyone knows that everything they do can and will be used against them in the future if circumstances allow for it, laws change.
Imagine there will be a lot of nervous people that get classified as threats, and maybe some free thinkers that are a threat to the peace and stability, 24/7 pokerface training.
