There was definitely selective pressures for Jews over hundreds of years and another filter for who managed to get to the US that influences the current composition there now.
Which means any success is likely deserved. Some like to see things as planned by an authority. They don't like that things just turn out the way they do.
Deserved in this context meaning that there is no conspiracy or hidden foul play going on, it is the various average interests and aptitudes that play out in self interested induvidual
I believe so. That people are mostly interested in their own/family standing and success. I do not think there is anyone behind the curtain pulling the strings so to speak.
