In the long term (like when BCH is widely used as a currency / high market cap) do you see forks getting less political? Seems they’ll only get worse as stakes are higher.
Humans suck, and will inevitably fuck up wherever we are allowed to. Also why block size cap needs to be set programatically (like difficulty) ASAP.
IMO it's a lack of extensive experimentation/testing. Networks this big are complex beasts - slight changes can have unforseen and widespread side effects. Caution is good, in theory.
I know I know but nobody has even described a possible attack vector. It's not even part of their arguments. Trying to propagate a strange block carries extreme risk of being orphaned.
