I'd love it if I can get even one merchant on my area to accept BCH. The problems is our central bank forbids bitcoin to be used as currency. So merchants wouldn't touch them.
I believe it's just a matter of time. P2P can't be stopped. Sooner or later the government will have to follow others in acceptance of new technologies. If not it will be underground.
