neither the blockchain nor memo are capable of hosting images. So really the question would be 'how to stop CP from being posted to imgur/giphy which is obviously on the site owner.
Doesn’t it go deeper than that because wouldn’t google severs have those files cached too?
You can certainly store any file on the blockchain. People are already doing that and have since the beginning.
Yup this. Another problem is IPFS. The file hash is basically immutable and forever here unless no nodes wants to store the file.
Is the IPFS network separate from the BCH network? And if so, would that network would have to knowingly store the files?
It is separate from BCH network. The nodes can see the files if they know the hash. Supposedly they only store (and share) files they downloaded tho. Correct me if I'm wrong.
