Dying of hunger seems like one of the most horrible ways to go, much rather stop a lion from starving by becoming lion food.
Lions, like many predators, prefer to eat their prey from the asshole up. This usually means a very painful, slow, and horrific death for the prey.
Still think I would prefer to be eaten from the asshole up by lions than starving to death, of course I would rather not have the choice of a horrible death either way.
And the worst would be to starve to the brink of death, then have a lion tear up my asshole, paid by the hour, right before I would be able to get the kiss of death from starvation.
