There is. Kindly speaking, the more people use the single protocol, the stronger the network effect. BlockPress just copied Memo to get the ‘inventors glory’.
I just use Memo. It was the first, I don't see the need for BlockPress.
BlockPress has quite a good UI. They can contribute a lot to the bitcoin network by open sourcing it so Memo protocol can utilize it.
If they would merge together I would be happy.
