You can observe that some do obey to his name: Check the view count when he makes a video on bitcoin.com YT channel with Roger Ver in the title and when someone else makes a video.
It couldn't be that his message resonates with a large (and growing) group of people. The only thing that has changed is the ticker symbol of the coin he has been promoting for years.
I think a lot of people see his videos because they know every Sunday their is a weekly update. When there are videos in between they don't get as many views, because it isn't expected
Well it is his haters that drive people to listen to him. We know his haters are wrong on the issues, and so assume he must be worth listening to. He never says anything bad.
