BTW that's not how it works. Capitalists just decide what investment firm to sign with-- they go to Fidelity & put in some cash. Decisions about capital allocation are done by workers.

Large institutions, and even individuals, sometimes decide to pay others to invest for them. Then there are others who direct their own investment.

Rich people are where investment decisions come from only to the same incredibly minimal extent that rich people are where food comes from because they occasionally randomly garden. :P

Yeah, but they're just deciding to work for themselves as their own investment adviser, the real actual job of investing capital. Rich people just profit from owning & do nothing else.
