I would love to see an optional secondary tip field for media memos. When I post a video I'd like to give viewers a way to tip the content creator directly, not just the curator.
That's interesting. How would the viewer verify it's the real address of the content creator?
Downsides: reposters will get tips for content they didn't create, lots of unclaimed tips from messages being ignored/missed, off-chain communication so not all immutably recorded...
You can't really :( Maybe there is an 'owner' tx cmd which references the post tx hash and an address. Client can surface the most frequent reference, anyone can 'fix' a problem?
If the referenced media is YT, the payment info could be in the YT video description which the memo client finds. Could then reasonably know that the address refers to the uploader.
I like that idea. If there was a reference on the chain to an address that wasn't in the description, or meta data in the case of a magnet you would just surface a warning.
would be cool if community voting could work. attach a poll to a twitter proof link along with a valid BCH address and bam! community can vote on validity. if valid, tip field appears
