If BCH starts heading in a direction that users dont like and are forced to use new updates by devs....the users will simply...leave.
users = markets.

Problem is, right now there's precious few users in the unwashed masses. Like it or not, spending crypto is a nitch hobby. What we need is real liquidity from banks and governments.

Coins without leaders will struggle to be used by B&G, the coins need B&G but
Banks, and Gov need crypto that has a phone helpline and devs you can work with, like VB or David S

What it needs to become is rock solid. There's no need for a help line if you know that tomorrow it'll be the same as today. That's why the ABC progressive agenda doesn't work.

Banks that work with xrp have direct contact with dev team.
All stablecoin creators on eth wil have contact wit eth team.
I dont see csw doing that, he just says fuck al the time lol.

You're not understanding me. ABC wants to be THE permenant go-to dev team like you're saying. But if they are, that means BCH is no better than BTC.

There's one easy way to avoid that: use other clients like BU, XT, bcash... But it's a miner choice. I guess BU will gain more weight in the network.

lols, ur right im not and same for you to me.
I dont want either abc, csw, the banks or gov on BCH
B&G can use eth,xrp or others..
Long term BCH real Bitcoin will unbank the banked.

You should want banks to use Bitcoin. It prevents them from doing fractional reserve lending. It's like having bank vaults with glass walls so you can see if your money is still there.

If a decently oil/mineral rich country decides to adopt a real sound money like BCH, the federal reserve will sick their dogs on them so quickly your head will spin.

The BCH base layer needs to be elemental, like gold. Everybody knows what it is and knows how to tell if it's genuine. It'll still be the exact gold tomorrow that it was yesterday.

The elephant in the room is the fact that, right now, nobody needs to use BCH. Holdings are very centralized so to invest heavily you have to agree to put your head in bitmain's noose.

I agree...also i want no fork.
I honestly want both abc and cw to FORK OFF and leave the real Bitcoin alone.
If BCH needs future updates there are many capable devs to choose from.

What we have right now is a king and a challenger to the throne. If the current king can put down the biggest threat to his throne then BCH is a dictatorship(also known as a shitcoin).

If ABC wins they have free reign to make laws to consolidate power. CTOR is the first step because it makes it more difficult for challengers to coordinate(via mining pools).

Im not liking ctor. this is what i mean,
if abc or cw does shit i dont like, ill simply leave and so will people i know.
i feel like Bitcoin is actually near death for the first time

If SV wins they have huge incentive to make BCH the best coin it can possibly be and actually kill off the other sha256 chains. If they don't they lose billions.
replied 2143d
Most will agree that both ABC and SV are good. It just comes down to which one the miners will mine. BCH is nowhere near death. More fud. This is why it needs to be done with already.

I agree. The difference to me is that ABC has nothing to lose. They hav no investments in mining equipment. I don't think Amaury even has very much BCH. Bitmain is backed by China fiat
