To save on the cost of hosting it directly?
I think hosting is cheap enough, but three independent site turn out bad user experience.
We have a ticket called "Seamless image upload experience" to address this.
I like ipfs more. they have the same soul, decentralized. youtube not.
Yes - we need to integrate IPFS publishing into the UI so you never have to leave memo. And it needs to be fast.
I personally have no issue with how it is now.
