Don't chase the brand: build the end.

There can be only one universal money protocol before you can build anything worthwhile.

It's chicken egg problem. The opposite is also true.

Not at all. Bitcoin as cash is all that is needed. Business already exist. The problem is when you change from a cash system to securities platform. Nobody will trust that, like ETH.
replied 2735d
When was ETH ever a cash system? Transaction speed is ridiculously slow and they also have high fees.

ABC is not a cash system either. It's a securities platform. Look at all the ICO announcements already. JUST. LIKE. ETH.

Did u miss nChain's plans for tokenization? No open blockchain will be able to escape development in colored coins

The real bitcoin as cash is a winner takes all.

Even if ABC wins the battle, it will fail to be adopted by businesses. Nobody wants to be associated with ICOs. Even Ethereum using corporations fork away from ETH.
replied 2735d
If that's the case BTC would probably be at 50.00. Lets take all those ICO transactions out.

BTC doesn't allow ICOs.

Technically those are second layer on RSK, not BTC at the protocol layer. I am all for those, even on Bitcoin Cash. Big difference between second layer and oracle securities.

How are security platform and cash system mutually exclusive exactly?
cbeastsv
replied 2735d
I didn't say they were mutually exclusive. Building securities on scripts instead of oracles protects the protocol's store of value and deters low cost and low accountability ICOs.
replied 2735d
Again moron, it's already a cash system. I have spent plenty of BCH all less than a penny. Just because SV decided to break off doesn't change that.
