much respect for Vitalik. A lot of the major player/big name YouTube personalities are too afraid to outwardly support BCH. Likely fear persecution from Core Trolls&loosing rep/viewers
Not sure about his motive, BCH might be the last resort for him, cause ETH cannot scale (CAP Theorem).
