The real danger I feel now is a POS system like EOS taking over. Governments can buy their stake and control everything (which I think is why PBOC loves EOS)
+1. Maybe not EOS, because since mainnet launch EOS is a shitshow, but can happen with any POS coin.
Proof of Stake isn't the thing that will push technological advancement so. I wouldn't worry about it.
