People are always arguing about what is racist or not in K-pop spaces. But this seems so blatant that there is really no excuse even the most hardcore fan can make. If racism was like murder, this would be first degree - pre-mediated, carefully planned out racism. Bizarre behaviour. And so so embarrassing for them as well.

Ooo that post made me furious, ur the most sane person in those comments. What the hell is this person saying “the conversation around cultural appropriation reduces black culture to just hiphop” like HUH???

How can they say that ppl fighting against cultural appropriation are the ones reducing culture to those few things as if there aren’t multiple parts of our culture, not just the ones being appropriated?
