Yes, mempool being wonky. Txns from 6am still getting confirmed. I thought memo DB had bad txns since they weren't getting confs, but old txns keep going through eventually.
antpool and BTC.TOP are mining < 100kB blocks today. seems they are observing conditions under mempool growth.
embrace the variance. ~10 min. blocks on average, today or any day.
Variance in time is fine, just not used to seeing confs fly by while my TX remains unconfirmed.
yes. normally you'd expect miners to take the fees on the table rather than let the mempool grow. i don't think we'll see present behavior consistently.
