if US is isolationist people ask how can you let tyrants rule & let people starve. if they're interventionist people cry foul. which do you people want?
People want to find someone to blame;P
But there is some that of course wants the right kind of interventionism and the right kind of isolationism, which happens to be the kinds that benefit them;P
But there are some individuals who wants one thing, some that wants another, and we hear them at different times. I like to think of it as special interest individuals or groups.

Yeah, it makes more sense if you think of it as sports. People generally want unfair refs in their favor, most argument and comments can be boiled down to: BOOO! YAAAY! My team rules!
yeah I get it. people want every system slanted in their favor. its just unfortunate.
We are built that way, wanting unfair advantages for our self, why also wanting fairness (in other cases than our own). So it is a sort of tension there.
