My suggestion is to not show muted posts or actions on muted posts at all. Maybe an option in Activity Filters to include muted posts?

I second this suggestion. I really don't need a button to show a post of someone I muted.

I don't mind the button so much, except it takes a whole line, even when the muted one is flooding chat with no interaction from others. Could such cases have buttons on same line?
