Same boat (but not trolling) Allowed myself to be brainwashed by r/bitcoin/censorship even forsaking my CS knowledge Now I know LN/Segwit are marginal, unnecessary improvments at best

Rereading my tweet, I'd say I wasn't trolling. I was genuinely questioning BCH supporters on r/btc. I have to say, even back then, the community treated me well. I'm proud to be here.

Wow really? I was on board right away. Interesting. Does seem to be a lot more coming to BCH side than vice versa. Not allowing block size increase was final straw.

Which is why we need to have lots of patience. Keep responding to the same questions with civility and facts. Regardless of whether they're trolling or genuine newbies.

That is a good strategy, just answer everyone as if they where honest and in good faith. At worst it makes people formulate better arguments, and people generally responds well.

One of their main goals is to anger you and make you seem rash to discredit you. Isn't there some quote about arguing with fools?

Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him.
