🤖⁉️ Do we need some bots on memo.cash? like you write "BCH price" and bot reply to your memo with answer? or with other functionality
replied 2292d
ok today I have spent the whole day analyzing cryptocurrency lending market. So will start with Bot tomorrow.
replied 2292d
Yes we do, but BCH price seems a bit bland. I think bots on memo will be great for the very reason that non-great bots would run out of funding :D
replied 2292d
do you have any ideas which kind of bot will be in demand?
replied 2292d
dictionary lookups, autogenerated graphs/infographics of BCH stats, like decentralization metrics or sentiment trackers etc.
replied 2292d
yeah, it is might be quite interesting. Although I want to start/test with something very easy and common like bch price.

Twitter/reddit/etc aggregation content collection - find top talked about conversations on twitter and repost as topics to be discussed here, is one thing that could work.

I guess in general, any bot that is fed quality information from a human, then capitalizes on it by reusing it in interesting ways?
replied 2292d
Important crypto-dates countdown timer, posts event information/links more frequenctly the closer the event is; like next halving, BCH fork dates, big meetups/conferances etc.

That sounds interesting, would be cool to see if the bot can live on the tips it gets as well. Price/Balance, I do not know what else it is possible to check with a bot.
replied 2293d
for me it is also interesting to check if bot can live on tips :) I think it's like nature measure of need in particular feature
replied 2292d
The reddit bot here can live on my tips alone.

We have to make the decision every time we make a action on memo, is it worth 0.17 cents? Every comment is answering that question with a Yes.
replied 2293d
actually Bot has totally inverted logic - bot replies every time :) and just if user who called bot will be nice and tip a little, bot can survive
replied 2293d
It will be an example of the tragedy of the commons, or maybe the non-tragedy of the commons if it works out:) Cool to see in both cases.
replied 2293d
definitely it might be a very interesting experiment. Will try to write such bot tomorrow.
