Technically theres a fee market for BCH. The seller adds a fee and the tx is included in the block based on who paid the highest fee but since supply (blocksize) outstrips demand so in practice there's no competition
Core force socialistic planned economy which kills the free market. Soviet Russia successfully convinced the world for years it was doing great thanks to propaganda similarly to Core.
In practise :
There is no competition in bch, everything is at 1sat/b
There will be competition in the Lightning Network, not every node will be at 1sat/hop
