The leader of South Korea’s main opposition Democratic Party, Lee Jae-myung, has urged South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol to distribute 250,000 won ($182) in cash to the entire population along with several other demands, South Korean news agency Yonhap reports.

The politician has mentioned a number of other issues, including those related to foreign policy, the legal system and the president's own family, in return for promises of active cooperation on medical reform, the report adds.
