Would an echo chamber conversation not be more likely within a small community like Memo is currently? A Larger user-base like Twitter/Reddit = greater chance of differing opinion. No?
If you're talking BTC vs. BCH, yeah I'd say that's true. Otherwise, this place is as diverse as anywhere I've seen. Twi/Rd/FB/YT are all being algo'ed/gamed to death.
Yes, I agree it's diverse compared 2 it's "competitor" BlockPress. But comparing Twi/Rd/FB/YT userbase on all topics, not just BTC vs BCH, seems unfair 2 call them an echo chamber. No?
From my experience in the last year - either you're encountering people who already agree with you or you're battling literal trolls who will inevitably get you banned/censored.
