Gambling is the core of Bitcoin's early success. "Unlicensed"? Bitcoin is above jurisdictions. No court can delete this memo. Moving forward OP_RETURN and DSV will enable so much more
Other people never need to care. Good infrastructure is invisible. Bitcoin was "a fun toy, but hardly noteworthy" for years, now IMF is forced to talk about crypto. Early days
Bitpay is a way to pay your bill in Crypto and one of the biggest companies. They may have a way to change to fiat but that's not the original purpose.
Wrong again, Sir. Bitpay was created to allow businesses to accept bitcoin, but get the exact amount in fiat. That was their original purpose and even says so in the name.
If I have BCH and I go pay my bill in with Bitpay at Dish Network I don't have to change anything to fiat. The business has the option of changing to fiat or not.
Then what will their business model be? ABC supports a securities platform. Problem is, securities already destroyed Ethereum and they will destroy ABCs coin.
...and the verdict is still out on whether ETH is really "destroyed". That notion is a bit premature when someone knows just a little bit of crypto history.
I am not afraid, but if it is possible to undermine BCH (or BSV) because of two ignorant blown up egos owning a patent trolling company, it was doomed to fail anyway.
