How can google be allowed to delete an app from the app store that contains bitcoin on it without warning?
replied 2291d
Ouch yep. anybody who had bitcoin on those wallets. Bye Bye. Unless they saved their 12 word pass code and then switch to apple.

The app is still on the phone. On mine at least so they don't uninstall the app.

Yeah, i still have the Bitcoin.com app on my phone as well.

Oh cool. Because on apple if it disappears from the store, it disappears from your phone. Maybe I need to switch phones.

They have control over your phone?
replied 2291d
They must because I had an authenticator app on my phone and it disappeared. I thought I might have accidentally deleted it so I went to the store to download and it was gone.
replied 2291d
Which authenticator was it?
replied 2291d
I think it was called Lock something. I don't quite remember. I know use LastPass.
replied 2291d
Now use LastPass

I think so. I really don't like Apple's dictatorship. Couldn't you take it to the court If you lost a lot of money on this?
replied 2291d
You probably could if you can prove how much you lost.

And you can't do that with the seed/private key :S and if you have it, you didn't loose it. Damn it. If they ever remove it, I would e-mail their support.
replied 2291d
It didn't delete itself from the phone, right? That would be disastrous for anyone who didn't back up their wallet.
replied 2291d
I have apple, and if apple store removes an app from the store, it disappears off your phone. I would think it would be the same for google, but I don't know for sure.
