it's like blocksize. do we need 1 GB blocks now? no, we couldn't fill them if we tried. but devs need to build a system that can handle that capacity in advance of demand. play to win.

Your intuition is correct. The banks weren't just going to let us have our own fork, but they were hurried, and used the same Blockstream tactic over again. Won't work this time.

ABC can not FORK! ABC is a protocol dev. team. Only miners can fork, by running code.
ABC Team suggested some changes, it is now on miners so articulate if they are willing run it.
