we started building hybrid web bsv apps and instead of the simple solution of just having little wallets on sites which takes like five seconds to code we decided to have a vast interoperable system all run by ryan x charles where we could easily log into anything and everything is the same swipy interface, fine, great, only kinda worked, relayx started to compete, handcash started to compete, ryan x charles quit, none of them worked all that well, and then now people are starting to say you know what's really convenient is to just have the wallet bundled with the app so it just works and yeah, you mean like memo works, like every little reddit tip bot and everything works, the easy simple way you can code in five seconds, maybe we should do that, yeah
the disadvantage to this method where you just make a deposit and it just works no problem is the counterparty risk ..... but i just deposited like ten cents into memo so long ago and i can't use it up if i try and it's getting WAY CHEAPER soon with competition heating up from mandalapool so this is geting SO SILLY .... to have social apps you need to make a deposit of like a penny ...... we're making everything so difficult to reduce the counterparty risk for the penny and introducing a bunch of other risks ........ we could just stop
