Hmm, what issue are you having with top posts? Or are you saying in general it's not surfacing good posts?
There isn't a filter for top posts just ranked.
Ahh, I see. After "ranked" posts was added, the "top" posts tab wasn't getting much traffic so it was removed. I will look into adding that back again.
