The only thing stopping it rn is that fact that the super rich ppl buying racing edition supercars still wan't the visceral experience of driving a loud, violent, combustion machine.

Wouldn't mind a sweet spaceship sound. This one sounds like a perpetually dying porpoise of some sort. I think they'll be hydrogen combustion some day soon. I bet that'll sound wicked.
Big car guy here: It won't be long before fully electric cars start shattering combustion records. Electric is simply way quicker. Drag racing is already dominated by them.
