Code to build a website is algebraic. Equations compute, and the results are rendered. Precisely. Scripture is that same way. These are formulas. Equations. Verses interact to generate certain computations. It's not historical. It's that it must be rendered through your life as historical. Of course, some code is complicated; but make no mistake - this book is not a clownish thing (as originally written, that is, without the additions). Deeply sophisticated. Thoroughly authoritative, even to the details. Don't ever expect to exit screen saver mode successfully, if you do not being this code to life!
None of the Abrahamic documents are historical. Sophisticated, wise mystery (revelation of the latent - but not automatically recognized) literature. Authoritative, as is DNA. None of it actually happened - in the regular sense - 2000 years ago. It is written to be studied and obeyed, not dressed up in a clown costume as a shield for your disregard for the law's requirements.
