I don't think you'll get many of these little independent ramen/gyudon/etc. places to switch out their machines. A $35 raspi mod would be way more painless imo. USB port + phone wallet
These machines are much more prevalent in japan than in korea. The manufacturer is probably aimed at new restaurants that are trying to cut down on labor.
It's a great system. All you need is a cook or two and a bus boy/girl and your restaurant runs like a machine. It allows mom and pops to thrive as much as the big chains. Cash is king!
Anything with a screen can in theory accept BCH with software updates. Will it happen? Maybe for some. Maybe we should focus on the big providers so thousands of machines updates atst.
The thing about Japan is - 75% of restaurants use these cash machines. I don't blame them, it means the employees never have to handle money. Easy raspi mod could make them take BCH.
