Magento's main plus is the ability to handle 1000's of products with little effect on site-speed. Any eCommerce CMS worth it's salt will release security patches. Drupal is my go-to.
I use drupal in all my sites, but for the ecommerce I need Magento, I cannot do with Drupal.
