There is actually a definition of hate speech "kill xyz for reason yxz" would be an example. Whenever you call to physically or mentally harm others its hate speech.

By that definition "kill the active shooter because he's shooting at children" is hate speech.

Everything you say that I don't like and cannot refute is hate speech. Easy.

The word "everything" always leads us to a generalization which is completely pointless. Just forget that word. Its totally pointless and obviously confuses you.
replied 2405d
"always leads us to a generalization" sounds like quite a generalization to me... surely there's at least 1 way to use the word "everything" that doesn't lead to a generalization?
replied 2405d
Why do you believe that the words "always" and "everything" do have the same meaning?? Count the letters and you might already notice a difference (you can use a calculator).
replied 2405d
When you said "the word 'everything' always leads to a generalization", that was itself a generalization. It's possible to generalize with the word "always" too.
replied 2404d
I totally understand so i told you (last message) that the whole comparison is pointless. What is it that you want to proof?
replied 2404d
You admonished John_Doe for making a generalization because those are pointless. I said you too were making a generalization of your own, which would be pointless on your own terms.
replied 2404d
You are saying: "Yeah i dont give a shit about understanding your message i just wanted to find a way to make it appear invalid" u are acting like a hater. I guess you dont want that.
replied 2404d
The point was not about generalizations but about a specific word? Read the first message and we can finally get to an end. Or don't you want to understand it?
replied 2404d
I understood, I just think you were being a patronising dick telling someone else to forget a word because it "obviously confuses" them, so I pointed out your own word choice sucked.

I have more tips for you that help you create more understanding between peaceful humans. Try asking questions if you want to find out the intention of another instead of judging.
replied 2403d
Now we get to the point. You proyected your inner hatred on my helpful advice not to use a word that creates so many misunderstandings between peaceful humans. Thank you
replied 2403d
Thanks for your help, it's really noble what you're doing.
replied 2403d
Brother life is about survival based on peaceful collaboration not on fake concepts like being "noble". We are happy we did help "everyone" grow global consciousness.

There is things that fall under hateful speech, but that is still covered under free speech. The only exception in the US is expressing immediate intent to do violence.
replied 2410d
A common definition is "Offensive speech directed towards someone based on their race/religion/sexuality/nationality/disability" no need to call for harm, stating dislike is enough.
replied 2408d
The "common" definition is rarely the "true" definition. The "true" definition can not be questioned otherwise it is not a definition but just an opinion.
