How do we *know* how much hashrate a mining pool has? Do they self report, or is it back calculated by the difficulty & how often that pool finds a block compared to its statistical expectation? Same for total HR?
Its just an estimation based on difficulty and how often they find a block.
And yes, same for total hashrate. There is no way to actually calculate it, so we can only estimate.
