As much as we hate it when it isn't for the team we root for, you r right. This is how the system should work. If it fails then so be it. May you have good fortune in the wars to come.

you are welcome to try & take that control away from them - compete; if you are not up to that & don't like the vision, you are free to use a different coin
Food for thought: by remaining ambivalent, exchanges are giving the users (and by extension the markets) the power. Not a bad thing
Especially since exchanges are known to have a very polarising effect
There's always room for better exchanges.
