Bitcoin is NOT a democracy!
Read the whitepaper: "Proof-of-work is essentially one-CPU-one-vote" is really proof of STAKE (as in money invested, not coins already mined).
If bitcoin (momey) is not a democracy why do we do politics to convince others of our opinion to use our coin?
That seem to be an awfully limited perspective on this protocol, as miners rely on the liquidity of the markets.
Everyone who have a stake can vote (by using/holding or capitulating).
