There's a new protocol that makes SPV nodes as secure as full nodes using zk-SNARKs. If implemented, even SPV wallets could be sure that miners follow the consensus rules. Which is an argument for bigger blocks,
as there's no need anymore to run a full-node on a Raspberry Pi or something at home.
I don't get it. You mean SPV wallets on ZCash are as secure as full nodes ? Because Bitcoin can't switch to zk-blabla, can it ? Is there an ELI5 explaining why it is as secure ?
