taxing the rich more is just a patch, it has been done before many times already and it hasn't fixed anything permanently, because over time, when rich paying higher taxes, reverses the poverty and issues with funding education, health etc, people forget about it, and this very patch just gets undone again and things start going downhill again.... it happened already also. The only way to fix this permanently is to replace the very fucking economic system which allows exploitation of worker's productivity. THAT is the underlying problem in all of capitalist western nations, especially the US.
