Debating whether or not to give anyone with an account the ability to edit any merchant on https://GreenPages.cash. Currently, only whoever created the entry (and me) can edit them.
It's beneficial to have other people edit (I want to on coinmap, it's not possible) and yes there's also the risk of sabotage. I think this is a nice compromise.
Which could then send an email to either me or whoever made the entry, giving us the option to quickly allow the edit or reject it, or contact them for for info/etc.
That's exactly what I'm currently building for a similar style site, although my data is from crawling. I think it's the best course solution. It's sort of how IMDb works.
Some of my thoughts exactly, or core people sabotaging entries, etc... But what if someone submits an entry for a business, and the business wants to come along and update some info?
