Yes, it's a killer feature for BCH.
CashPay & Ari want an on-chain naming solution for SV. The downside of on-chain naming schemes is it forces address re-use, unless we decide to commit master public keys to the chain.
I don't personally have a problem with using a single address, though I understand why some would.
